Day 1
Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met and transferred to Arusha. You will have the rest of the day to leisurely enjoy your lodge in Arusha.
Day 2
Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch. The park is named after the Tarangire River, which provides permanent water for wildlife. This park boasts a diverse array of mammal and bird species. Spend the night in Tarangire.
Day 3
Lake Manyara
Depart for Lake Manyara, located at the foot of the Great Rift Valley, driving via Makuyuni and Mto wa Mbu village. Lake Manyara National Park is famous for its tree-climbing lions and abundant birdlife. Enjoy an afternoon game drive with a picnic lunch. Arrive at your lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight.
Day 4
Lake Eyasi
Depart for Lake Eyasi, a rewarding detour on a safari trip for those looking for something remote and off the beaten path. This area is known for the Hadzabe bushmen who subsist entirely off the bush and by bow hunting. The weather is nearly always hot, as the lake is located in the floor of the Rift Valley, the oldest rift in the world. Arrive for lunch at your lodge and visit the Wadatoga blacksmith in the afternoon, who still works in the traditional way. Spend the night at Lake Eyasi.
Day 5
Hadzabe Bushmen & Ngorongoro Crater
Early in the morning, witness the Hadzabe bushmen, East Africa's last true hunter-gatherers, as they head out to hunt. Have lunch at the lodge and enjoy an afternoon drive to Ngorongoro for overnight.
Day 6
Ngorongoro Crater Tour
After breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro Crater Tour, which is considered the 8th wonder of the world. The crater is 2000ft deep and the largest intact caldera in the world. Enjoy a full day game viewing in the crater.
Day 7
Masai Village & Serengeti National Park
Depart for Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch via a visit to a Masai village. The park is famous for its annual migration and abundance of wildlife, including lions, buffalo, elephants, giraffes, and numerous species of gazelle. Spend the night in Serengeti.
Day 8
Serengeti National Park Tour
Enjoy a full day safari with a picnic lunch in the Serengeti exploring the local ecosystem. You should expect to see a diverse array of wildlife, including large mammals, birds, and small animals, in their natural habitats on safari in the Serengeti National Park.
Day 9
Serengeti National Park Tour
Enjoy another full day safari with a picnic lunch in the Serengeti exploring the local ecosystem. You can expect to see a diverse range of wildlife including large mammals such as lions, elephants, and buffalo, as well as smaller animals and over 500 species of birds.
Day 10
Fly Out On Seronera Airstrip
En rout safari to Seronera Airstrip with a picnic lunch en route for a game drive and take a flight by light aircraft.
